What happens to what you share.

Plainbuilt is a one-person business run by me, Griffen, through Olsen Digital LLC in South Orange County, California. This page covers what I collect when you visit this site, buy the assessment, call the Plainbuilt Line (the AI voice agent that runs the assessment call), or fill in the free assessment, and what happens to it after.

What I collect

When you buy. Your name, email, and payment details, entered on Stripe's checkout page, plus your business name if you give it. Stripe processes the payment. I see your name, your email, and that you paid. I never see or store your full card number.
During your call to the Plainbuilt Line. The call is with an AI voice agent, not a person. It's recorded and transcribed, because that's how your plan gets built. The agent tells you this at the start of the call, before it asks anything. If you'd rather not be recorded, hang up before answering and email me for a refund. The phone number you call from is logged by the phone system.
When you fill in the free assessment. Your name, email, business name, optional website, your answers to the five questions, and any tasks you tapped in the busywork calculator. I use them only to write your recommendation and reply to you.
When you email me. Whatever you choose to send.
On this website. Basic visit counts through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or build a profile of you. The site doesn't run advertising pixels or session recording.

Please keep sensitive details off the call. I only need to know how your work runs. Don't share health information, Social Security or account numbers, passwords, or private details about your customers or employees. If something like that comes up anyway, I leave it out of your plan and delete it with the recording.

How I use it

To build your plan and send it to you.
To follow up if something from your call is unclear.
To handle payments and refunds.
To reply when you get in touch, and to keep basic business records.

I don't sell your information, share it for advertising, or give it to anyone for their own marketing. I don't add you to a mailing list without asking.

Who else handles it

A few outside services make this work. Each one only gets what it needs for its part, and handles it under its own privacy and security terms:

Stripe processes payments.
Retell AI runs the Plainbuilt Line's voice agent and records and transcribes the call.
Anthropic provides AI software I use to work through call transcripts while I put your plan together.
Google Workspace handles my email, including messages to [email protected].
Cloudflare hosts this site and counts visits.
Web3Forms delivers free assessment answers to my inbox.

These companies are based in the United States, and your information is processed there.

How long I keep it

Call recordings and transcripts: deleted within 90 days after your plan is delivered.
Your plan and our emails: kept for up to two years, so I can answer questions about it or pick up where we left off if you come back.
Free assessment answers: kept for up to one year.
Payment and refund records: kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, which is usually several years.

You can ask me to delete any of this sooner. See below.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of what I have about you, ask me to fix something that's wrong, or ask me to delete it. Email [email protected] and I'll reply within 30 days. I may need to confirm it's you first, usually by replying from the email you used. Payment records may need to be kept for tax reasons even after a deletion request. I won't treat you differently for asking.

If you're a California resident, these choices apply to you regardless of whether state privacy law requires them of a business my size. I don't share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing.

Call recording

California requires everyone on a call to agree before it's recorded. The Plainbuilt Line says it's an AI and that the call is being recorded at the very start, before any questions, so you can decide before anything is captured. Staying on the line after that notice means you agree to the recording.

Security

I use reputable providers, keep accounts behind strong passwords and two-step sign-in, and limit access to me. No system is perfectly secure, so I can't promise nothing will ever go wrong. If something does happen that affects your information, I'll tell you.

Children

This service is for businesses. It isn't meant for anyone under 18, and I don't knowingly collect information from children.

Do Not Track

This site doesn't track you across other sites, so it treats every visit the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Changes

If anything on this page changes, I'll update the effective date at the top. If a change affects how I use information you've already given me, I'll email you about it first.
